Generations Donations

Qualified educators develop and deliver exciting STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) programs meeting state and national curriculum requirements in addition to continuing the Ship’s role in teaching the lessons of history and inspiring civic duty to future generations. Support the ability of public-, private- and home-school students to participate in education programs at the Battleship.
The Battleship site now experiences sunny-day flooding during most high tides. The Living with Water project aims to restore more than 800 feet of shoreline and 2 acres of wetlands to reduce the impact of future storms, coastal storm surges, tidal floods and stormwater run-off. Support the Battleship in creating resilience to these weather events and to enhance the resilience of fish, wildlife and their associated habitats.
Since coming to her berth in 1961, more than 50 years of wind and water at the tide line have left the Ship’s hull paper-thin in places. This is scheduled to be remedied in 2020. But as the Ship continues to age, the Battleship needs your support to keep her fit for visitors and to preserve her for future generations.
